Situated at an altitude of 1770-2017m Kopaonik National Park is the largest ski resort in Serbia. Its covered with snow over 160 days per year. The Kopaonik ski resort grounds are spread over 55 km of Alpine trails, and 18 km of Cross-Country, providing great pleasure for skiers of all categories. The ski resort consists of 17 blue, 9 red and 7 black runs, as well as 24 ski lifts with a total capacity of over 33,000 skiers per hour.
For snow-boarders there is a snowboard park, while for the youngest fans of winter sports there is a park where they can enjoy sledding and ice skating.
Kopaonik is a favorite winter resort for the younger generation because it is known for its bars, cafes, clubs and restaurants that provide great entertainment until the early morning hours.
In addition to enjoying the exquisite ski slopes on Kopaonik there are a number of other winter activities such as ski safaris, snowshoe hiking, ice skating, mountain bike riding and tobagganing.
For people that enjoy nature and fresh mountain air, the activites of Kopaonik in summer do not lag behind their winter counterparts. In summer you can enjoy rafting, paragliding, archery, Jeep tours, mountain biking and many other activities.
